Workshop 2: Prompt Your Data: AI-Assisted Data Science for Acoustic Emission

In parallel to talks

Standard AE analysis software covers most everyday tasks, but some  questions go beyond what any off-the-shelf tool offers: a custom feature  nobody built in or a specialized timepicker algorithm to sharpen  location results. Until recently, pursuing such ideas  meant writing Python or MATLAB code and the idea was only as good as  one's ability to implement it.
AI has changed this equation: code can now be generated from a  plain-language description of the analysis. What has held this back in  AE practice were mostly practical constraints such as installation and  setup effort, developer-oriented interfaces and data  volumes that rule out uploading raw measurements to external services.
This workshop demonstrates how these constraints can be overcome: a  complete analysis driven entirely by natural-language prompts, from  loading raw measurement data, through processing, exploration and  visualization, to exporting the results as figures or back  into conventional analysis software. Participants need nothing more  than a browser, their own files and a question.
